Surrealist figurative artist who lives and works in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.

After finishing her career in International Relations in her native Monterrey, Sandra moved to San Miguel de Allende to study and practice for five years the techniques of Renaissance painting in the workshop of Master Realist William Martin, completing her training with courses in photography, sculpture and sculpture and jewelry, among others.

With more than 20 years of artistic experience, Sandra Palma’s work is recognized for their magical narrative, interweaving characters and symbols, which reveal the artist’s own experiences. It is inevitable to take a close look at her paintings and find small details full of life that are hidden at first glance.

“The themes that are at the heart of my work are those that have to do with the earth and the air, the coming and going from reality to the fantastic in the same scene, I am excited about creating possibilities”.

Her paintings confesses its Mexican nature, the colorfulness, the sometimes vibrant and sometimes peaceful coloring, the vegetation and fauna, all tied to her roots.
